If I leave the machine facing the sun on a hot day like to day from 10-11 am the heat from the sun will pop the 5 amp temp control.

It will not reset until it cools down.

Guess I better keep direct sun light off it.

Anybody notice anything else?

Oh ya got the new gasket put on my tank. All my belts with 1430 hours are in great shape still.

And we set the relief to 15 with a 100 feet of hose.

Surprise it's 15 @ the machine with out the hose.

Super happy about improved vacuum.

I heard those things need to be replaced after a couple of pops. They are weaker after popping. ??

Might try replacing it.

A 5 amp breaker is always gonna pop easy.

Probably gonna order a new one soon.

As I was reading Sam's post, I was thinking that I was having the same exact problem. My tank gasket was damaged from day 1. I finally fixed it but the vacuum increase only lasted a short time. I found this yesterday. All fixed and it pulls 10" with the wand connected. Use to pull6.

Sam you can easily make a better gasket. I use the black polyurethane in the caulk tube. Clean it throughly then wipe with acetone. Spread the polyurethane then cover with wax paper. Put the lid back on and press down. Don't start the machine, just use your weight. Wait about 4 hrs or over night and it's good to go. The wax paper won't come off but easily the excess tears off. Don't get the stuff on your hands, it's permanent once dry and will have to wear off. My filter box is on its second machine with only a small touch up of the poly.

This is some good stuff. We use to use it to seal commercial duct work that was out on the roof of the buildings.

It was 110 today my machine shut down once my radiator need some fluid, I check it but it's been a month or two. Oops. Easy fix.

The 5 amp breaker stayed out of direct sunlight and it was fine.

The radiator is a sealed system and you really shouldn't need to add. A small leak could vaporize and not be seen, but usually smelled. It's easy to pressure check it when it's cool.

So I talked to Rick and Scott.

Scott says the 5 amp breaker acts like a 2 amp breaker with ambient heat. They now sell new 570's with a 10 amp breaker on the temp control.

I will be getting my 10 amp upgrade soon.

I'm sure this will help to keep it from
Popping prematurely.

These machines need a lot of ventilation when the temp gets hot.

I've been using a small fan to try and keep her cool.
