My CDS died. What coulfd be wrong?

Are you using any filter off the truck like this it can keep more crap out of the machine.

What kind of filter is that? I use a Hydroforce filter with the wire mesh insert and in addition to that I use the piglet stocking filters.But when I clean the basket inside my waste tank there are still hairballs in there. I don't know how they get through , but they do.....
