This is not a new problem. When I was a young teen my father had a customer he recently cleaned for insist their dog didn't urinate in the house and that the new spots where something else.

He just said: "It might not be your dog, but it is urine. Perhaps you have very large mice?"

His humor escaped her, but even though he lost the customer, he got a good laugh from it.

Wow, I did not think your Dad had it in him... Just like I did not believe the Admiral had the ability to not voice his opinion. A moisture meter stuck in the pee pee would have been interesting...

My preconception of the world has been shattered.....

I completed a job yesterday for a customer who was 89 and somewhat forgetful:(. Before I started I called Her son who scheduled the job, but lives in Texas. I informed him that there was little chance that I could improve the condition of the carpet in any meaningful way so it would be better for me to just continue on to my next appointment. He disagreed and said he would like it cleaned. He said his mother did not believe the dog was going on the carpet. There was not a spot the dog had not hit, what a day:(

With Coit, in a very similar situation as Lee Pemberton's, I suggested that it must be her live in elderly father, if not her (obvious) pets.

Management wanted to talk to me what I got back to the office...:dejection:

I rarely do the taste test, but these are the moments my professional levels shine......:shifty:

Isn't it the perfect time to charge for the cat scan and lab report?

Can't tell you how many times I've had that exact conversation with people. And when they mention that the same spots came back it has me seething ...........behind my mask of supreme honesty.

Obvious identification with a strong UV light will allow you to charge for the urine treatment Cat photo:

Be nice to mention no follow up or redo when working with urine issues.

Ill help you dilute it .. but with no guarantee and Ill come back as many times as youd like for a small fee.

I cant stand customers that hold you liable for their own issues !!
