I just had to have one! I used it once just after I got it about a month ago and put it back in the garage (I guess for a rainy day). Used it again tonight, anyone want to buy a slightly used SX-15, or trade for a slightly used turbo?

Pro's
-Very Quite
-Larger Cleaning Surface
-Great Suction
-2 inch tube

Con's
-Larger Cleaning Surface (Can't get around commodes very well)
-Will wear your butt out! (almost have to open relief to 1/2 with Vortex)
-Seems to skip if you try to go to fast
-Hand grips are hard on the inside of thumbs
-Jumps and digs into the slightest uneven lip
-Leaves about 1.5 inch dirty edge (does well with the tilt)

*goes to show bigger is not always better
*Wish I had bought another turbo

Just my two cents worth

Ill add to that.

Better extraction than the hybrid but the flimsy plastic head does not hold on to the brush or plastic rings well.
the plastic rings at least stays on but it skips and clunks a lot.

Head needs a redesign with the type of plastic the hybrid uses

Billy when are you ever going to listen to me. Turbo's are on sale until the end of the month $795 and I'll throw in shipping for you but I don't want your SX-15

I had a lot of complaints with the old sx-12, but now I have to say I love it.

My problems were coming from running a 5' section of 1.5 inch hose. The difference in vac running two inch all the way is tremendous.

It's not the best tool, but I can get by.

I would prefer a turbo, but my sx is making me money.

So far I like my Sx 15, I just did a large tile job and thought it went faster.

Om old school still using the Original Turbo but I looked at the SX-12 & used it but it just didn't work at all with the Big Bear Truck so we stuck with the Turbo & plan on replacing with a Turbo Hybrid since the original has been so good.
