not the modified one.

call Greenie for pricing on the modified.
if he doesn't have one in stock, tell him to get off the 'puter and make one up

Then buy a $46 dollar Bissel Powerforce
It sucks better than the Sanitare and has an attachment hose.
It will also gobble chunks that will stall and smoke a sanitare's belt

trust me, I've owned and used both

The inside is a stamped basket for strength

the whole thing is stainless and way overbuilt but we have used it for a year and a half with no problems. The stupid pool filter didn't last 2 months

yes and I'm really proud of the use of bungee cords to keep it closed that is the secret to making it work right!

Tony

It was made locally for us, We can't weld on metal that's this thick.

there are no filters on the Euraka/Sanitare design.
My guess is, you'll hate them if you vac empties where chunks/debris are common.
They're fine for maintained carpets, but choke on things like pennies, bread ties, debris, etc that a Bissel (or most any other by-pass motor design) readily gobble up
You'll be clearing a stalled beater bar/brush and belt all-de-time.

and personally, I'll never buy another vac without an attachment hose to suck dust/debris from corners, edges, under desks etc

The Bissel Cyclone Momentum ($89) has little to no filters to monkey with (the biggest draw back to the Powerforce)

Are they the "best" vac world?, heck no, but they'll flat out out suck/vac any "big buck" vac on the market.
And when they get beat up and looking ragged a new one is affordable for use in res and the ragged one gets ab-used in the rehabs/empties

The ideas, drawing and devices that some of you guys have come up with is amazing. Very good quality. It just goes to show "need is the mother of invention". There's a lot of ingenuity out there. I applaud you all.

John
