Will the Mytee Lite II work for cleaning furniture? Is a single 2 stage vacuum good enough? I don't want a heavy portable, I will never want to take it off of the truck.

Looks like a nice unit and it would probably be a great spotting unit, 50lbs and 120psi but solution & recovery of 3-gallons will mean you're dumping and filling at least once on a divan with separate cushions.

Personally I'd go up a size or two, but that's just me.

The reality is I would do anything NOT to use a portable, we TM almost all upholstery. We only use a portable when forced by ridiculous hose runs.

I have 2 and 3 stage uph. machines and prefer a 3 stage vac.
A 2 stage will be adequate with a 3" tool for most fabrics but with the bigger vac production and dry times seem to be better.
I also use a 5 and 6 inch tool for commercial upholstery and the 3 stage has much better airflow for the larger tools.
It does have plenty of psi for upholstery though.
