need a receipt when purchasing equipment

i'm buying a lightly used Cimex from a fella locally and realized we'll need a receipt for the tax write-off.

anyone have a sample? i aint sure what all should go on it....the date and both of our signatures, along with the price and description of equipment....anything else ???

When buying anything used, if indout, get all info that you can, Might be hot???? But yes your right for tax and depreciation reasons dated signed reciepts are a good record for your file..
