Got my new blower drive shaft for the Genesis. Should take up the xtra play in the system. Gonna replace the belts, too, since it's this far apart. Will post R&R pic's as I go....

$300 but fully installed bearings, seals, and greased.

I bet the old on would make a great paper weight.

14 lbs.! Lot's of momentum once it starts spinning. My Son wanted to make me a new shaft, since he is a machinist, but the roller bearings were worn, and I'd have to find them.

Yep......it's the stub shaft that was worn. I could have just bought the stub shaft, but the bearings were showing wear, too. I just bought the whole assembly to get it done quickly. Only a difference of $67 for the whole assembly.
