Adjustable jets angle might be okay for o/o, but no good for employees. I am with jimmy, to expensive.

Just can't see that $1800 price.

I put the blame on the prochem titanium wand price. That wand isn't worth$1300. They never should've had it at that price to start. It should be the same as the pmf mach15 price.

Now, this devastator has way more value than the prochem, so I'm assuming that's where he started his price point. If a bunch of guys are spending $1300 on a prochem with no glide, then it's definitely worth at least 35% more since it has a glide and a high quality swivel.

So if the prochem was $750, then this would be somewhere between $1000-$1200

Does that make sense, or was I just rambling?

The swivel really is the thing that's valuable. I don't know what the cost of the non-swivel version is but I know after using the swivel wand I don't need it.
I have a flop around swivel on my pmf stair tool and if I had know how loose it is I would have ordered the non-swivel version...or something else. The swivel on the original Devastator is what is unique and no one else has yet to duplicate. Worth it.

Hell, look at the Styker wand, they are trying to give them away now with purchase of a flood pumper..........:eekk:

I still remember Uncle Larry Cap razzing it's debut...

The market place will dictate the price..

You do have to admit the devastator was had a lot of thought put into it..

It's the best wand out there, which is why it should be sold for more than the prochem ti

No, a PMF mach15 is a great wand !

But is it a 10-20 year wand that will take being ran over by a chimp!????

Nope!

The Prochem Ti a bit more expensive has lasted the test of time.

A solid 13.5 inch wand with 12 flow and set up properly is hard to beat.

Prochems wand are built a little better then the sapphire wands as in there definetly more material used.

The SS wand's are lighter.

We'll have to see it they last as long.

Tom's wand is selling service after the fact.

@Jimmy L he's got a lifetime guarantee on the swivel, if there's a problem he'll fix it no charge!

So ya the $1800 is a lot but it includes a fully pimped wand with glide and the warranty.

And it's made pretty good to.

I did see Dangs new locking swivel and it's a lot tighter and has a locking mechanism.

I don't think Tony's has Toms lifetime warranty though.

Everyone needs to understand what lifetime warranty means.... It's the lifetime of the company or person who sold them the product not your lifetime.... If a business goes belly up, so does your warranty....

This is by no means a knock on Tommy, just a general statement.... When someone tells me "lifetime guarantee" I tend to ask for a health and business report.....:stir:

While it is very expensive and I agree with you on this, jimmy you just have to try it.

When a guy with a 45 or 47 puts their hands on this wand even for a demo, they get it and see the big deal.

This is made in America like the zipper and other quality tools that will last a cleaners lifetime plus.

pm me if you want to try one out.

This wand was built around a #4-45 blower, all the time I spent, going back and making adjustments to it, and when I felt I had got it as good as I could I told Missy I think it is ready.
We went to Nashville Mikey's fest....
We hooked the wand to @Mark Saiger s Butler with a 47 blower.....at that very moment I knew a hole glide was a absolutely necessary.
This wand will help any #3-45 blower to take advantage of the power they have. I am not saying it makes MORE power as some seem to twist this around, what I am saying is that this wand really does compliment the smaller truck mounts. I would really say 47 is the max and even that is pushing it without a hole glide.

I think you're CRAZY! You don't remember hooking it up to my Titan in Nashville? Tom, that felt perfect with the slotted glide on my 47 blower. There's no way I'd put a hole glide on that thing.

I tried one out on an Apex doing a night club. I believe it had a slotted glide, I could be wrong. It was very easy to move as long as you break the seal on your back stroke and for those who have never used a swivel, there is no comparison to a rigid wand when going around furniture. This place had a mixture of tables with both round and square bases, which we were not moving and the swivel made getting around them a piece of cake. Best wand I have ever used. Its on my list of must haves, just waiting for the CDN $ to pick up. If you think $1700 is expensive, try $2295 Cdn plus shipping.

Its all relative to what pile your cleaning, commercial, polyester, olefin. Any glide will work the slot won't bite as hard.

A thick smart strand, or nylon with a good pre spray will bite harder and lock down more.

That said if your use to pushing a prochem quad wand without a glide its no big deal.

I was swithing back and forth and now cant find my slot glide. Think I brought it into a house and forgot it! $160 down the drain.

Still hoping someone will call and say hay Is this yours!

I'm have my guys leave duk gaurds and that hurts, most custy's call and say you left something.

But some just keep it.

It doesn't need a hole glide for my 500 cfm Butler. I tried it the first time when it was hooked up to Mark's Butler and I thought it was perfect. I still think that. slotted glide.
