the Mighty Dripod.

just too damn easy to bring in the house with you.

10 minutes in each room really knocks a ton off the dry time.

if nothing else place it in an area that may wick like by the front door, in front of the lazy boy, a sofa frame while you clean the cushions or where Chompers sleeps.

Way to go Studebakers!

Now I wish it were true that Sapphiire was sponsoring the Cleaning College. I'd be able to see one next week. KMA!

I'll have to ask the distributors that will be there to make sure they bring some.

10 pounds compared to 38 pound airpath

airpath say 40 mph wind but what is the cfm, dri-pod is 750cfm

I got one because of the hype here. I pre-ordered it before seeing it. I was pretty mad when I saw how small it is. I took it to a jod and after cleaning a room I put the Dri-pod on one side of the room and my Mytee Tradewind on the other. The Dri-pod wasted the Tradewind. Dri-pod $158, Tradewind $250. I have already bought another Dri-pod. I plan on having 6 or 8 by the end of summer.
Small, stacks good, doesn't take up much room on the van.

I know I should bring my AP in more as it does a phenomenal job.
It's just a pita to do so. It's a two handed affair and I have to pull things out of the truck to get it out from under the shelf.

the DP almost fits in my pocket and I would dare say is about 65% as effective.

Which is plenty for drying synthetic carpet or tile floors.

Hmmm, one air pod for 150 or

3 patton 18 high velocity fans for 50 bucks...

omg, industry in 2001 on another board i said mount them down .or sheer to dry carpets lightning fast...

then came the whose idea was it actually- Studebaker /lol ya right ...

1986,cleanfax same mention on drying using fans.

So go buy the so called pro version,an mikey a Patton fan is one hand carry able...

Hey but its all good you guys use nylons over stainless steel filters when you dont have too...

ps, the devastator in line is too big remember the matrix in line from jon don...duh...

Since 1976, Rocking Rugs perfect,an now with 3 Butler trucks under my command...You thought I was gone ...Nah man ,

Im just getting started again here .Forums looking good, might I say.

Sincerely. the Finest M/Fn Carpet Cleaner you never met...

Or you could place you on one side of a room and seltzer on the other trying to impress each other

Carpet would be dry in 5 minutes

I use to waste lots of time drying hard surfaces w fans.

Much faster to just damp mop with a microfiber mop.

not only is it faster but no puddles, streaks or watermarks either.

Plus, damp mopping gives the floor one more cleaning pass before you go down with your sealants or finish.

Downdraft fans are useless for drying floor finish too.

Another problem I've had with downdraft fans is the wheels leave terrible divits or impressions in the carpet that sometimes are near impossible to remove using a grandigroomer.

That is my experience using the larger studebakers.

It might not be an issue with the lighter weight dripods. But it could.

I often thought that large skids or sliders under each wheel would resolve that problem.

I've noticed that my sidedraft squirel cage type fans dry carpet about twice as fast as my big downdraft fans do.

Go figure.

Also,

Has anybody else experienced what looks like filtration stain on some light colored carpets directly under their downdraft fan? I swear those things can cause filtration stain on some freshly cleaned carpets.

Mytee's electric TM still has my vote as best new product of the year.

Nice to have you back Ceasar you were always 1 of my favorites.
I'm not sure what you mean by a Patton fan, do you have a picture?
Studebaker has been known for stealing ideas for years. it comes as no surprise to me, perhaps he should be paying you royalties LIKE!

Well I decide to buy some. I bought 4 total but I can only fit 3 in my van. Interlink give you a price break if you buy 4. They fit real nice in the back of my butler. Before I could only fit one snail fan in it. Now I can fit 3 easily.

So I may have an extra one I may be willing to sell. I do need to see if I can rearrange it maybe I can fit 4 in there. I was told they just went on back order at interlink.

I've seen Jimmy naked

I use my F6 for it all the time

if you put a squirel cage blower in the door way it will never reach to the side of the walls, they ony dry in a V in front of the blower

Just picked up 4 dri pods today. Mitch at Empire floor in Northridge hadnt heard about them tell I called him. He had to order 60 to get any at all. But he's really excited about them now too.

They are small I'll see how they do tomorrow.
