We run straight live 200 feet off of a reel change it out every year to year and a half and don't worry about it let it cook all it wants, as it will come off of the truck in less than a year and halfs time.

We run big blowers and the guys know if you can cut sections of vac hose down even during the job you do it. We are all about best extraction and getting the carpet as dry as possible.

I have 125 feet solution hose set up live on my reel that gets changed out once a year. I'd say that reaches 90+% of my jobs. I have 75 foot on a extention cord reel in the truck for the instances when it's needed.

Wintrax will set it up whatever length you want.

Garden hose is also live. Never any issue with it other than replacing the float in the tank one time.
