I sent out a video to folks who really know upholstery cleaning and received these comments
Looks good, and pretty much what we discussed. I like having the bypass as an option too. If it is at Indianapolis, I'd like to test it with an El Diablo to see if opening the bypass gives enough flow to fire the burner. What size jet?I like it,
I’ve actually been on the hunt for a new tool that I can use on airplane interiors. Right now I’m using the Prochem tool, it can have a lot of over spray if I’m over 300 psi. And because I’ll go from carpet edging to the seats it’s not practical to be running out to turn down pressure. I especially need to be careful doing the pilot seats because of the instruments that are inches away. I personally would be interested in a hose that is twice that long to keep the fittings out of the cabin area where I’m working.
I like the tall head idea I like the idea of the window Very helpful on fabrics I can’t tell you how many times I’ve snagged that trigger and thought I would tear a fabric . Can’t believe people love that thing! Also the 1-1/2 hose is to awkward.
Wow You just changing the industry. I really like the upholstery tool. I like the enclosed spray jet. But should be an option. If course your GG on it. But did I miss the vac release on it? Pmf has that SS hose connector with a vac bypass. I like the higher stance of the tool. Keep your gorilla hands from rubbing it shaking fine weaves. You might consider the overall weight. It could cause carpel tunnel on large upholstered sectionals. You might consider changing the hidda hose to 1 1/4" vac line. I like the glass window idea. As for the bypass on the inlet side. That's an easy addition. Again maybe set up as an option for the low heat tm or portables. I love the vac release on your tile tool. We're you getting requests for it to be added? I thought it worked great without one.
The placement but the head is the first one I've seen there. But it makes sense because you were drilling holes in the headI like itI like the longer bypass dump hose, we had problems with the old Kleeenrite ones being to short, and being so hot it damaged the vacuum hose. A window is almost a necessity to compete with the clear head tools, and makes it less of a guessing game for the technician.
In general I prefer an internal jet tool, but the enclosed spray is a big improvement over the typical external jet configuration.
A beta tool will be in INDY for evaluation
