The Mitex guys down under already have a chopped down kirby type vacuum with the same thing. They target the motel mattress business. They vacuum the bed and then spray some solution on for lasting benefits against dustmites and their Der P1 allergens etc.

Make that Allerx, instead of Mitex.

It is a Kirby vacuum with an ultra light fitted, you can also purchase a handle for doing carpets if required.

Not all UV lights are the same.

They put out different frequencies.

The one that knocks over the house dust mite is a medical uv, not sure how many nano whatever it puts out, & I can't be bothered going downstairs to check it :roll:

The beater bar also plays an important part.

Put your hand on the mattress in front of the machine and you will feel the mattress vibrating.

This assists in releasing the crap clinging to the inside of the mattress and allows the vacuum to extract it into the hepa bag.

This is a household vacuum available for housewives.

I see a trend here where this will be the norm for vacuums.


I'm curious to see what consumer's reports say about it.

It might just be a non performing gimmick and have poor over all performance.
