2012 was a breakout year for me. I added a few more trucks, hired an office manager ( a good office manager). Added a few more technicians to the team and have taken big steps to grow our rug cleaning division as well as a few other divisions.

Most here know that I build sites and do graphic design stuff all ready but I figured I would share one of our latest additions to our online presence.

This site is built specifically for gaining rug cleaning leads.

Our goal for 2013 is to purchase and/or build a new building where we can run a larger rug operation and park our trucks indoors if needed.

Anyway, what do you guys think of the site? http://www.rugcleanerseattle.com

To what medium would you attribute your expansion, how would you rank each one in roi for your market?

Isn't Becker in your market?

For the first few years in business I did not really do much marketing aside from website related. Now since we have a good amount of revenue coming in I have started expanding and putting out more and more advertising to specific lists. We're doing our first EDDM campaign next week (will let you know how it goes). We got on the radio, big wraps, big trucks, etc.

Website is #1 by a long shot. Facebook has done well for us. AngiesList has done well. We do newsletters, referral marketing, email marketing, database calls, reminder calls, thank you cards, etc.

The alyeska theme is a responsive...the way you inserted the youtube vid screws it up breaking the layout for tablets and smartphones

google "responsive youtube embed" for a couple different ways to resolve ......

Just wanted to have a call to action available. We're currently using them on our other sites and have increased our call volume , time will tell.

Hate the drop in screen....

Drop downs are worse than pop-ups.
Intrusive and annoying unless surfing porn.
Your not even giving anyone any time to actually look at your site before blasting them with it.
Do you think they are going to make a decision without even looking at anything else?
The only call to action is to immediately close the window.
I would not attribute any increase in call volume to a bad drop down.

Loose it.

Overall the site looks really good to me, drop down is annoying and takes away from the site .IMO

Just because something works for national searches doesn't always translate to a local relationship building service, just my opinion.
Ever try a special count down?

A window with a special that counts down how long it lasts, say a week or whatever. $1k had a pretty good one once.

Got a mobile version on the way?

far too busy on my 5.5 inch Note @ screen

btw, does this mean you can finally afford that Airpath?

Fred said it was a responsive site, responsive sites readjust to the devices screen, but the placement of the videos were hindering it.

Well done on your growth & Nice looking site.

However on my iPad I could not see the video there was only a blank space where the video should be and when I went to the blog I still couldn't view the video. Is it Flash format ?

Cheers

Jamie
