I have a Whittaker GLS machine and it works great on commercial carpets. Several years ago, I had a school system principal who just would NOT pay for HWE. So, I gave him a GLS "cleaning" for half price. The carpet actually looked better than HWE, but it wasn't clean. It just looked clean ... and that's all he cared about.

I wonder if that debris collection hopper will work on the GLS machines?

My main complaint with my BrushPro is with the Renovators. With them on the brushes can't get within 4-5 inches of the wall or next to furniture. It looks like there is only one collection bin, but it looks more flush mounted. That might be a good thing.

Great......another $5000 maintenance machine. I was checking them out 20+ years ago....before encappin' was cool. They're about 20 miles from me.

first of all i would like to know who is making this machine for them, or is it their design?

i dont like all the plastic.

many of the features are very well thought out and from the video look, to be very well implemented. especially the rising blocks to protect the brushes and the integrated collection bins.

would like to try one out for sure.

is it really 5000?

$3775 for the 15 inch Trio. It comes with 5 cases of Crystal Dry. This is Whittaker's design. They spent over 2 years designing it and it has been in the field being tested for a while now ( Airports, Hotel and Casinos). The first 2 shipments already sold out. They said it is a very industrial machine and should hold up as good or better then the Lomac/GLS. It's belt driven with steel gears. 3 Brushes cleans 50% faster then the twin brush machines and weighs more with more "head weight". The standard gray brushes are between the current blue-greens. Both rear brushes spin in the same direction helping it collect the debris in the hopper as you clean. A lot of scientific testing and data collection when into these new machines. Whittaker is an awesome company to do business with.

Nope not a rep or anything. I talked to one of the designers of the new Trio the other day. It says call if you want more info about the new machine, so I called. I do have a twin brush Whittaker machine though. I plan on getting a Trio in the future. That 20 inch Trio machine looks like a beast.

THAT's a lot of coin.

Here's a simple little machine that's served me well, apart from the waste tank being a bit small.

On it's wheels to make life easier.
