I just knew there would be a pic of a bike.

How easy is it to install a blower anyways. They should never go out.

You need some skill and experience, not for just anyone to do.

Alignment is critical or you'll have belt issues and can cause all kinds of other wear problems.

It's a monster, what size? Why did you buy it? Does no local Pump company have your specific model readily on hand? or Did you get a good deal on her.

What's that sucker weight?

I think I'd scrap out the Genesis before trying to change out the blower ( I do have an extra 59, dual splash blower in the shop). On the Genesis, the outlet of the blower is connected to the HX system, which is pretty well rusted right now. And where the hell would you get a 4 inch pipe wrench for the outlet pipe. I'd probably have to pull the TM to change out the blower.

Nice to have an extra around, though. I also have a 4hvl?? something or other sitting on my old PC 405.

Actually I think you do have to uninstall the machine to change out the HX and or blower... I remember it being a big PITA!

It is a very nice feeling.

I take it you are having no problems right now?

Are you going to shim the blower to align it better?

No rebuild

brand new from the factory

I dont think there is much of a demand for this model so they make them as they are ordered these days.

Give me a call on Monday Jim.

I might want to try a 6008 on my latest build. I know I will have to change out pulleys and what not, but it might quiet the truck down a lot (with the doors closed) if I can run the blower 500 rpm lower and get the same or better performance.

Yeah Michael, were still busy but the flood work is winding down, although there are areas south of where we were working that are just getting electricity back on and we are getting calls from there. We've been busy with normal every day flood work on top of it all, but I'm not complaining.

How are things in Texas?

i bought two blowers from dealtimeman.. He accidently sent me four so i sent two back.

i put about 1700 hours on one (and counting) with zero problems and the second blower is sitting on the shelf.

shouldn't be any problems .
the blower is the most durable main component on a TM.
Keep oil in 'em and the bearings greased, they should out last every component on a TM

ya'll should be getting 8-10,000 hours and more out of blower
What's with those POS V's that you need truck loads of blowers on hand??

I initially bought six blowers at a great price that couldntbbe passed up.

Two of my v have the original blower ( you know it is an original if next to the tut hill stamped tin plate there is a vortex stamped tin) and one was replaced before I bought the truck. I have extra main components on the shelf at all times. Limiting downtime makes everything run a lot smoother.
