From the time I got into the truck with Martin and Chavez at the airport, my brain became an absorbent sponge : )

You just had to be there to understand what took place.
EPIC Training Seminars and ZERO pressure to sell, everywhere you went, each pair of eyes n ears you looked at was absorbed in the content of the event. It never ended! each day before and after the event, information and knowledge was still flowing from before breakfast during lunch through dinner into drinks, waY Up INtO Da WEE houRs of the MorNin. A Family Atmopshere with nothing but the best intentions for the Machine and Tooling of this Industry and the people involved in it, Especially the Cleaners.

The Butler Never Had to Show Off, it fired up sure but Everyone knew it was Bad Azz. Mike didn't overwhelm the crowd running the big V, doors were open and some slobbering was done of course. He was running nutzo making sure we were absorbing it all.

Everyone of the Speakers were phenomenal. This was Class interactive stuff, REAL Boots on the ground and I'll quote Jeff Cross and say "GrassRoots" Cleaners talking to the Pro's and each other. There is no value in that period!

I learned as much from the cleaners there as I did in class. I didn't want to sleep. Knowledge was Everywhere!

I have made lifelong friends because of this. Thank You MikeysBoard

So excited, first thing this morning I ran downstairs, jumped in my rig and went to pettin

I drive my Cab Over like this he says! FOLLOW THE PURPLE LINE JIM we yelled, lol and when Jim about Rammed (Who was in Olson's Rental Driving?) Olson's Rental trying to get off the FreewaY , I knew we was in Bidness for Real : )

In Memory of Ken Snow, I heard the Term Rug Fag yelled across the courtyard at the Hotel : )

Count me in for next year. If its Santa Cruz, I will stay longer and bring my wife. If its not Santa Cruz, make it Nashville and I will do what I can to help set it up. As an occasional lurker, I was very skeptical as to what Mikeysfest would be. I expected bickering and the "I am better than you" personas. That could not be further from the truth. Though no one knew who I was, EVERYONE answered EVERY question I had. By everyone, I mean literally every guy I stood next to, not just the presenters and vendors. You cannot get that kind of detailed and honest info from pros about marketing, employees, processes, and equipment anywhere but here. While the immediate knowledge I gained from the presenters was fantastic, the relationships I gained will be the most valuable thing I take away from Mikeysfest. A big thank you to Mike for putting this on and allowing me to attend.

But Santa Cruz is incredible, if. I dont go back to the Azores in Feb 2015, I'd bring my family to California for the week during Mikefest

I would think a long time if you don't clean a lot of furniture. Heavy use might cloud it faster but I doubt many cleaners clean enough upholstery to make it do so.

The concern will be if any of the solutions we use will cloud it prematurely.

I bet it stays a lot longer then we think it will....most UPH chems are not that bad...and it not like the wand site tubes where we are pulling in a lot of sand and dirt to scratch it all up.....

It is well made...pretty stout....I would not hesitate hooking it to any machine and cleaning with it ......

I do commercial upholstery and that thing no doubt would show dirt rinsing through but it is not needed since the customer knows how filthy the chairs usually are. My concern is after dusting and vacuuming well taken care of residential upholstery, will the water still run dirty enough to make the customer think it is worth their money?

John I wouldn't think it would. I would think it would only do so on very soiled upholstery. At least with the demo upholstery you couldn't see it being flushed dark.

I think they should tint the tool light blue and sell it that way. Forget about the value of seeing the dirt, most clients might be too embarrassed seeing any soil coming out of their furnishings anyway.
