I just ordered what we'll need from jermcapstore.com

Jerm sold me on some 8" Tuuway pads that have brown ultra stiff brushes imbedded in them. 1500 ft per side then wash em in a bucket and keep moving. Actually absorb some dirt so hopefully we can skip the post padding.
Albert is going to loan me his Cimex so we should be able to plow right through this job.
Those BBC's seem like they are too stiff but they actually work really well on trashed stuff. They do make bonnets for the Cimex too but we rarely use them, mostly for correcting problems.

For Commercial carpet cleaning the Cimex is the king even when you're HWE it works well for preconditioning.

8100 feet left, they do all the vacuuming and will have all the furniture gone

I got my .28 asking price.

The damn things can make swirls that are hard to get out on plush carpet. Not needed on most commercial carpet but when it thicker the groomers will take the swirls out when wet. Or you can HWE them out should you get a complaint. Those dual head groomers make fast work of larger areas.

So I got my password figured out (my email was not coming to computer had to go on comcast site to get it)

Anyways I would put prespray in Mytee 175 tank and lay it down with shower feed system. Never owned a cimex so I don't know how fast one can lay prespray with it but I can do it pretty quick with a 175 w/ tank and pad.

Hard?

Try impossible.

Maybe the 1.5 Hybrid tool, not the new SX with the full two inch hose to the floor.

Besides why bother when the HOOS works so well.
A tile tool isn't gong to deal with uneven concrete any better then rotovac would

I still have the original black turbo. I tried it on some matted olefin the other day. Took all my effort to move it even with dual wand. Have to stick with entrance matting for it.

You were using a poor excuse for a Turbo in the pic.

The Turbo Hybrid has a great vacuum relief, and a glided vac ring with the slots cut so as not to lock down on the floor.

Last week we we had a couple of different jobs where we cleaned more than twice the sq/ft for half the price.
I thought we did well until I read your post, you need to seek out more commercial work, you came out great!

DAY 2

The BBC pads worked fantastic.

Ripped through the nastiest of spills.

1900 feet in 2.5 hours.
one wet one dry pass wiht the Cimex
Follow up pad wiht a 175 and cotton OP type pad. 16 pads used, both sides (60+/- feet per side)
12 gallons of Snake Oil used at 4 ounce per gallon
Heavy spots pre spraey with quart size pump up and Snake Oil, same dilution

I set of BBC pads used, flipped half way through, not as much attached soiled as I would have though but plenty of wear. I suspect in another 2000 feet they'll be toast.
How much did I pay for these Jeremy? Not complaining, just curious..

that carpet is messed up.

It was so slow going I was getting dizzy/nauseous.

My guys get to do the remaining 6000 next week when I'm at Connections.

I told them to take their time and not puke all ovr the clean (looking) carpet.
