I have used that product before and didn,t have much success. Then I discovered procyon (similar product) and have been using it ever since. I use the procyon plus powder both as a prespray and a rinse. I use 16 Oz in a 1gal hydroforce (gotta mix it real good) 32 Oz in 5gal slurry metered at 2-4 gph or 3 Oz to 5 gal in portable
I've tried the liquids (carpet and Upholstery cleaner) and (extreme) and I just find the powder more cost effective even it's a pain to mix. The extreme liquid is too powerful for average cleaning. I have had it leach the color from black cords and even from my blue solution hose. It rinsed out but disconcerting when it happens.
Pretty simple, I presprayed with extreme and where my blue solution hose was lying, there was a blue streak. Where my black powercord was lying, there was a black streak. I'm not knocking the product, just saying be careful. I use it only on my worst jobs.
I don't doubt what you're saying. I'm just saying there has to be more to it. Cheap hose, boosters, or other product used in earlier situations. It's just not a problem for me.
