I'm back!

I sold Get Fresh Carpet Cleaning and am now doing a little specialty business. Just high end upholstery cleaning.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge of this: One Earth Rug and Upholstery Cleaner

Unfortunately I would have to special order it and so would like some feedback first. It looks like a very interesting product.

Is it comparable to anything else on the market? Anything under the Chemspec name? Or is this a new product?

But awesome to see you Back Bill!

Sure looking forward to hearing about what you have going on.

Was just thinking about you couple days ago and wondering how you are doing.

Thanks Mark!

When I sold Get Fresh, our plan was to open a small brewery specializing in wild, open fermented beers. But we wanted to be very small and just before we signed the lease, the laws in my province were updated and would have impacted us. So we decided not to open a business where we had to depend on governmental legislation which is a moving target.

Anyways, we have a few things going on, but the only one cleaning related is Tapestry. Very tiny niche market.

I think all the One Earth green product line from Legend Brands is available through Safety Express in Canada (and Interlink Supply in USA). They may have to order it in as not all locations stock it. There is a location in Calgary - Bay 8 2221 41st Ave NE 403 234-8324.

Thanks Scott. I will check with them.

I get all by Bridgepoint products from my buddy Rick Thode at iSpotless! I love what Bridgepoint is offering in the fine fabric arena as well.

Thanks Mikey, but the product I linked to, I don’t think is the one you are referring to. It is not based on DFC 105 and 210. At least I don’t think so.

This is a new third product in the One Earth lineup that looks like more traditional chemistry, but is on the acid side.

“Acid-side prespray for use on textiles that tend to bleed when treated in alkaline conditions. Used as prespray or as neutralizing rinse. • Versatile product: prespray or rinse.”

It's a "wool safe" acid side cleaner with detergency. Not just an acid rinse.
I use it a lot for wool carpets, on location oriental rug cleaning and upholstery cleaning that I want to stay on the acid side. I would usually pre-spray with the appropriate product and use it as a rinse with a kick.

It also works well as a cleaner on its own when dealing with not heavily soiled situations and in these cases you can also use it as a pre-spray and rinse with water.

So far so good. Cleans well, not a knockout kind of cleaner, but not intended to be either. Tends to foam quite a bit, and I dilute it more than suggested ratio.

So far it looks like it does not leave much residue but haven't used it for years, so I can't say with certainty.
