$25 and yes there was a runner rug of the same carpet that was cut apart for a donor piece.

I've got to agree with the dawg, as much as I don't want to.

$25.00 is too cheap for your work. I'd have a minimum of $75.00 and for what you did there I'd have asked a $100.00 - $125.00.

Plus I think the client would have still felt like they got a great deal, you just salvaged a disaster for them. 8)

it depends. if he was cleaning the carpets anyways then $25 is ballpark but still a little cheap imo. If it was stand alone then $75 would be more appropriate.

5 minutes is also a little shy of the time it would take. Everything included that is a 15 minute repair with unloading, and loading tools. We do tons of them for landlords. "tileX bleaches carpet? I didnt know that"

agreed.. if I was doing it.. prolly about 100.00. I have to cover the cost of all my fun tools! :mrgreen: I have so many I run a second van just for the tools alone! shiteatinggrin
