I have an older RGF Turbozone model 900
ozone output is 7.5 ppm
917 mg/hr

How good is this for smoke and other things?

So not quite a gram an hour? If so then that isn't a lot of output but it doesn't mean it can't do what you want. It just means it will take longer.

Ozone is heavier than air so you could set it on a ladder and run a small fan to help distribute it. In time it will build up and deodorize the air space.

Had a two bedroom apartment with smoke odor. They painted and I cleaned the carpet. I know they had some smoke residue in the duct works and told them that. So I set up the ozone machine on the counter facing the livingroom, placed a small blower behind it to force more airflow, set the air conditioner fan on. Then set the timer on the ozone for 12 hours. Came back the next day and then ran a cold fogger with multiphase deo thru out.

Good enough?

Yeah Mikey wife complains of the car smelling like old man ASS.

If you are able, time it for 24 hrs. I have the Oasis machine. I believe it puts out 2.4 grams per hour. I usually always set it between 24 and 30 hours (which is the maximum). Works great on cigarette smoke and cooking odors.

I just spray tabac attack on everything. Works good enough for apartments.

Most professional machines claim to supply 3 to 5 grams per hour and some 10 or even 15 grams per hour. I am surprised by a machine that claims .917 grams. Never heard of a claim being that specific. There are no officially accepted (by our industry) ways to measure ozone output. I think most manufacturers make a SWAG and round off to the nearest gram or two.

Jimmy, Rick hit an important point when he mentioned the ceilings. Even textured ceilings can be sprayed generously, as long as you let them dry. The fallout will then treat the hard floors. I had one house that was stubbornly stinky until we did the ceilings (smooth can be flat-mopped) and poof! It all got better.

I just spray it on everything and tobacco odors disappear. Just works good for me and isn't expensive.
