It depends on two factors, what you are cleaning, and what are the chacterisitcs of your extraction device. These two factors will determine the effective orifice size. You see, it's not just the dimensions of your wand lip area, but what is the effective opening when in contact with your cleaning surface.
A general rule of thumb for a portable adding a single blower, for an effective orifice below 3/4 square inches, select series for maximum air wattage. Above 3/4 square inches, you go with a parallel blower setup. The figure will change (go up) if you are adding to a machine that already has high CFM and lift potential. As such, if your wand seals well, go with series, if not, go with parallel.
If you are doing hard surfaces, the opening may be quite large with a brush ring, so parallel will definitely help. As well, a rotary wand with a hard suspension will also "leak" air at the CWI, so parallel will help there too. Conversely, a short run to a well sealed glided wand will benefit from a series setup.
I would go over your intended application, and existing setup with Mytee, so they can recommend the best option.
