That is really cool. How much does an app. like the one you are building cost? Great idea. It might not pay right now....but this is going to be the wave of the future!!!!

It's a little pricey $1400 and maybe not something to show big results now but down the road I think it will.

That is really cool. Expensive up front, but I assume that it cost nothing from now on? Now just have him create you the next Angry Birds and you will not have to clean carpets.

so that would be like a "active website" in a way that your clients would carry in their phone?
any comments, written or voice, would be updated to everyone elses phone or to your website which you would have linked to your app?

For an "app" to have any hope of being downloaded it has to have a fun or handy informational bent. If it obviously is designed just for marketing your business only your closest relatives and bill collectors will bother with it.

This particular app looks like a standard mobile website template, so maybe it would be better if you just use it as a mobile website. When people visit your website using their mobile device it can be placed to come up automatically and will be much easier to read on a tiny screen than your standard site, and this way will be valuable without being seen as storage sapping phone clutter.

Keep the "find us" feature unless you don't want anyone to find your physical address using their phone.
