Portable vacuum vs shop vac

talking with a friend who is looking at buying a Ninja 150. He's felt the vac off shop vacs and he felt the suck off this 3 stage unit. He's more impressed with the shop vac suction.

Is there a difference in the motors, the way they perform? Could a shop vac motor be installed in a porty and replace the usual 2 or 3 stage motors?

The Ninja only has Chinese vac motors.

Mytee Breeze & LTD models have much stronger U.S. vac motors.

Willy, Are those all hooked in series? Why not parallel?
