I couldn't get it larger. From what I can see. Your web address might get nuked with the postal bar code. You might want to send yourself one as a test.

Man I don't like it at all...

So it will probably work great! lol

I would still put a "Call Now" or "here's the number to call to make your appointment" or something like that near the phone number.

I would put a date below each thing stating how long the offer is good for

I would list upholstery prices

Get rid of the cat and put something else on there

A few other things I just don't have much time right now. Good luck with it

Brian what about dont you like.

ANy other feedback?

The funky fonts for the prices etc.

No call to action "call now" or something

The colors are ok but stripes and poka dots don't go together. lol

No catch scratcher...should be cat on the carpet or just the cat...the kid and lady photo has be overplayed but your customers probably won't notice so it's ok

2 areas and a hall what? Doesn't tell them what you are doing.
These terms are regular for cleaners...not for customers.
"get 2 rooms carpet cleaned for $99" or something like that.

The layering of the backgrounds is good but I think it might look better if the coupons were shadowed to create another layer

Tell them to go to your website and why
"Visit our website for more details" etc

Take out IICRC and carpet Manufacturer crap...they don't care.
Sell "clean" not process
Sell "Safe" not "certified
Sell "convenient" not "recommended" by a firm they've never heard of.

Hope this helps

I think Brian's is a lot better, but putting prices in and being what I will call "high priced" will not likely get people to call. If you are going to be a higher priced cleaner, stick to selling the intangibles, not price.

Ken
Ps Also 10% off is not an attractive 5 discount in this era of groupon, and all the other half off deals. If you cannot afford to do at least 20 or more % off, then perhaps just say- "ask about our furniture clenaing specials.

Great post

I agree

It reminds me of a "discussion" Greg was having about price ads....I had said if you have a low standard price then advertise it. But if every house is different then you don't advertise price.

Thanks Ken.

Well guys, thanks for making this postcard POP. I like what you did Bob, along with Brians work.. To be honest that last one you did Brian is just about perfect. Is that in JPEG form?

I just created it in word and then snipped it off the screen. I can do quick edits like that.
You can right click and save it...but I'm not sure of the quality for printing.

I'm looking into a new program for creating stuff like this. The one I'm using now isn't that great.

The back is good for all your other services and maybe a few other deals.

Note from the owner, maybe a testimonial from a customer is also good.

You dont need to overcrowd it but it's a better area to get more into detail about what you do.

"Your carpet is like a big air filter and needs to be cleaned out...."

You get the idea.

this is great feedback for him Brian. And agreed, when creating advertisements you want to put yourself in the customers place. What would they be interested in and what can be left out...
