Has anyone converted the power cords of their equipment, ie, vacuum, floor machine, etc, to a cord with a light indicator built in to let you know if outlet is on? I don't know how many times I've plugged something in and go turn the machine on and there's no juice. Just seems to me like something like this would be a standard feature.

I normally cut the power cords off my equipment...( RX...360i....things like that )...and buy the extension cords that have the indicator light in both the male and the female ends...

it is much easier to pig tail the equipment....it makes it easier to roll up or move the machine around with out 20 foot of cord to worry about ...and the indicator lights will tell you if the out let is hot as soon as you plug it in....

I have one on every extension cord I use for my ETM.

These plugs also indicate correct polarity in the outlet.

You can get them at Home Depot or Lowes.
