Nissan was a bad mofo but the Hyundai seems a step better. Forklift to a car.

I should have been more diplomatic with the question:

"Of all the engines used in your biggest slide in, which did you prefer:
Nissan, Hyundai, Ford, GM, or Kubota?"
You’re not going to make me feel bad for laughing

I would assume that the GM engine is the easiest to get worked on locally .... correct?

The 870 never had a GM in it. The original 870 had the Ford in it. That motor was discontinued which forced us to find a different motor. We then went with the Hyundai. That motor was also discontinued, which again forced us to find a different motor. We have since gone with the Kubota, and anyone who has ran a Kubota can attest to their durability, their performance, and their track record. They are very well known and we don't foresee them discontinuing this motor. We are very confident in this set up and have backed it with a 5 year warranty.

The GM motor was evidently only in the pdf manual. Just as well.
