Machine is a Bruin 2.. the tech said that the TM was fluctuating with its idle, same with the pressure gauge. It was making a loud "clicking/knocking" noise by the pump. The TM would run a lot better and less clicking/knocking noise when you hold the override switch on. It would also run a lot better while on high idle but died after pretreating 2 areas and runs like poo..

The dump tank is empty and its getting fuel.

The machines radiator did have a small leak pin hole for which I used a stop leak with it that you put in a car.. I did that about 2-3 weeks ago.

The water pressure going into the machine is fine and the fresh water tank on the TM is full, any suggestions?

The van just got back and its the pump clutch that is knocking due to lack of water, yet the water box is full and the filter at the bottom of the water box that goes to the pump is fine.

Its fuel injected.

I still don't even know what all the buttons do on the front of the machine, so not sure where that switch is.

Have you checked your fuel filter?
Air filter?
Is the override switch for low oil presser? (check oil level)
If the pump is making a rattle noise, you could have a bad cup in the head of your pump. Get that checked, you could destroy the head, if left untreated.

The fuel and oil was checked and okay.. the knocking is the pump clutch trying to engage but can't and the fresh water intake is fine.

If a pump is not pumping, then it is not sucking.
If it is not creating pressure it will shut the machine down. So it sounds like the low. Pressure switch/sensor is working fine.

Sounds like you either have a pump or clutch issue.

Thread a short 1/4-20 bolt into the threaded hole in the electric clutch (which is good to know, it makes the clutch ON all the time). If you can, disconnect the wire to the clutch.

Let us know if the noise stops.

I wuv Mikeys Board! Thank you Lee, you have solved a problem I have yet to endure! Clutch failure in the middle of a job, no problem just drop in a $0.24 bolt. I am off to add the bolt to my tool box...

I figured I would update you all with what was wrong just in case someone else has these symptoms.

It was the switch that controls the muffler diverter to turn the pump off for flood mode. I had jon don bypass the switch and runs great.. Thanks for all the input and wisdom in this thread.
