Does protector (for a short while) NOT allow soil to stick to fibers thus enabling carpet to appear and remain clean after each vacuuming?

Soil attaches itself to the fiber or the protector covering the fiber. Either way, the carpet is dirty. I have never seen any positive indication that vacuuming a protector coated fiber removes any attached soil more effectively than a non-protected fiber. The only positive thing experience has taught me is that carpet protection helps prevent stains.

Test the protector you're selling and make your own evaluations.

I've seen incredible differences in performance between products that otherwise seem to be identical.

MOST importantly, here is the dirty truth few want to talk about:

Protectors work their best on new carpet with no texture damage and no cleaning product residues.

The only tests worth looking at are on a carpet that has been exposed to use, then thoroughly cleaned and rinsed.

Maybe I’ve been missing out $$ all these years. But I don’t sell it nor apply it. My concern is adding more chemicals aka cleaning detergents in a home. I just don’t feel safe spreading it around.

I rethought about it after talking to a buddy of mine that includes it in his pricing. Still I’m a hesitant to use it. Just wondering if there is a benefit to helping carpets look cleaner longer after a few times of only vacuuming. I don’t have any carpets in my home so dont have any way of testing.
