pump question

pump started a very minor leak so i got a seal kit form john and no instructions. anything special i need to know. its a cp-6120 cat pump, I know i should have a spare.

you want to pay close attention to how the seals come off..they don't look it but they are directional.....there is a slight bevel on one side....

aside from that it is pretty straight forward...

I have a 5cp 2150 , Ron.
I believe they're very similar
Mine wasn't difficult and can be done without taking the whole pump out .

It's been a few years, but if recall, I removed the 6 pump head hex bolts and pulled the head off then took over to the bench

it is easier on a bench....I have done mine while it was still in the truck..all you have to do is remove the head and everything is right there...

take a scratch awl or something similar and mark where the pump is sitting on the frame and just pull the 4 bolts and remove it.....
