I don't know of any reason you couldn't use it on wool, if it's urine you are dealing with I wouldn't sweat any warranty issues, no warranty covers pissed up rug.

The Quat products do not say that on the label.

Sorry Greeine, that I'm late responding to this thread.
It is not recommended to use Quat on wool.
But like you said before, if it is full of cat pee, Quat might be the only thing that would work.
I recall Mikey using it on wool, with a bad dog odor. He applied it to the carpet and made sure that he rinsed it good.
One option for odor on wool is to use the O-2 System by itself. The O-2 System has sodium borate, which has high
disinfectant properties. Mix 6 oz. of the O-2 Pre-Spray to a gallon of water and allow 15 to 20 minutes dwell time.
Some interesting information about sodium borate, it is actually used as a preservative for wool carpets.

Jim, I think it' might be a "too high a PH" thing rather than the resoil issue
maybe one of the more knowledgeable can confirm

the resoil/sticky thing happens with any carpet when used as a "spray 'n go" deo/sanitizer.
IMO, it should be pre-sprayed, dwell and flush/rinse extracted
