No - I had my usual 5 gallon coffee enema. Why do you ask?

I had 2 carpets to clean this week that were fooked up by rake marks.

I didn't know rakes were still used since shags have gone out of style and with the invention of the
Grandi "Brush"
I hardly see a carpet that does not look better "Groomed".

There's the key- the BRUSH, not the hard toothed plastic unit. The plastic one can be used GINGERLY, (GREAT for pet hair) not some doofus bearing down on it with half or all his weight.

I remember years ago grooming with a grandigroomer and the carpet had those groves in it. I was a newby and didn't know any different, no boards to tell me, but it never sat right with me. That was almost 20yrs ago and I think I could find the condo yet.
I bought a grooming brush after that, not that cheap grandi thing, but a real brush.

certain types of thick carpet will leave grooves with the grandi groomer. On those types of carpets just go backwards with the groomer. This isn't rocket science people.

Can you make us a video on raking Richard? :p

Damn good thing it's not rocket science cuz we sure are in a short supply of rocket scientists.

no, sorry. Not going to make a video on how to rake. You could ask rob allen, he will make a video of just about anything.

I will explain it though if that helps. Just like raking leaves lift the grandi groomer up extend it and place it on the carpet. Then gently pull it back towards you. This will remove the wand marks and footprints. When you get done with a row take 4 steps back and repeat with another row.

Mine do, never once had anyone complain about wand or 360 marks.
