Yes, I know this isn't a DJ forum, but you don't want to ask a DJ this question, you want to ask regular people. I am DJing the relay for life and have to come up with 8-12 hours of music. It is an event on an area a little bigger than two football fields with between 4 and 7 thousand people. A large number of them will be running or walking around a large track, but plenty of spectators and coordinators. Any suggestions for upbeat music would be appreciated.

Ken, too many DJ's specialize in one type of music, especially the ones that lurk DJ Forums. They pride themselves too much on underground and anything mainstream is a four letter word. I wanted to ask the average Joe what upbeat mainstream tunes that are appropriate for all ages they would like to hear at a big concert charity event.

I asked a bunch of smart asses though, so I probably won't get much. It's okay, I hedged my bets and asked on 3 DJ forums as well as amongst people I know in the community.
