Start a technical video production company and hire yourself out to manufacturers. Really. No one has the staff or time to do this.

If you're just in it as a hobby, show how to replace a Cat with a GP Emperor. Then you 'd really be doing Butler owners a favor.

It would be the same procedure just have to check specs of clutch relative to Ww here cat pump clutch sits now. SLO's may need to change belt size.

These videos are very helpful for Butler Owners. Honestly they should be available on the Butler website.
I was thinking the same thing...as a matter of fact, Butler could use a good rep...I mean seriously, Mark knows his machinery and should be paid double for working half the amount of time he is currently working. He can make Butler HUGE... Wish he was in Vegas,,,As a matter of fact I hope he knows someone who could deliver me a butler in about a year or so...

I bet there are a hundred Butlers running out there because of Mark's videos. I never even considered Butler until I watched a few of Marks videos and the fact that you can upgrade the standard vacuum and heat. I think the upgraded Butlers should be the Standard Butlers but what do I know.

Great and helpful video Mark. Did they warranty the pump? Btw, they did replace the 150' solution hose that was getting pinholes.
They will be getting the old pump in couple days but think it will be under warranty.

Think was just in the manufacturing moment. Someone might have tapped too far into the casing.

But, they of course need to be able to look it over

I recently watch a Bob Foster video that was 85% him complaining that he couldn't hold the camera while showing the viewers how to use a hand tool.:hopeless:

The old prochems take only a half hour as long as there is not a bulk head on the van. One of the easiest pumps to replace.

Even some of the new ones can be changed in a half hour or so.

Take 2 hoses off the chemical pump, spin chemical pump off pump. take 4 mounting screws off pump. Slide forward take belts off. Lift pump out?

I guess the harder part would be R&R the clutch plate?

The good news is I've only had to rebuild 2 cat pumps in 15000 hours so I guess they're pretty solid.

But ya it looks easy enough I'm sure a Butler owner appreciates the video.

And I thought I was doing well getting 6000 hours out of mine.

If wasn't making this video could have done in about half the time actually...

But I can twirl some wrenches when I need to

It's a lot easier to work on the pump if you get everything else out of the way.
