It's a lot easier to work on the pump if you get everything else out of the way.

That's the hard part a pump, 4.5 blower and belts heater core and shaft!
Plus install and a couple packages.
$25k. 31k if you want Saiger Sauce version.

Easy to use, easy to work on!

What's the longest period of time you had to wait to get your Butler up and running after a break down?

Do you always need a back up plan?

Like has a pump went out completely, and you had to wait 2-3 day for the proprietary part?

It's actually one of our Butlers being readied for sale. When it's time to sell them we strip most everything out of them, clean and repaint everything, go through all the components and repair or replace anything that needs it and reinstall it all. This truck is in the final stages before re-assembly.
This is why I'd seriously consider one of Brian's rigs when they come up for sale.

Ask Butler and Sapphire. @Sapphirerick

Rick Aranda said in Vegas it wasn't going anywhere for awhile. Chevy now owns the DD market or like Saiger said has a platform like it.

Brian, do all high pressure hoses and fittings get replaced?

Pump and chem injection get rebuilt?

I'm imagining new belts and fresh fluids...

Am I missing anything ?

Sam, we have the luxury of having a few extra Butlers as back-ups, so it's difficult to answer your question about how long we had to wait to get a Butler up and running. I do know that Butler is very responsive and will send parts next day if needed. Over the years we have had parts overnighted several times. We stock most Butler parts and/or use local suppliers, so that isn't normally an issue.

Our back-up plan is to use one of the spare Butlers. We do use the spares for multi-truck jobs and there are times we have no back-ups available, so if an issue arises, we fix it! We have 3 full time mechanics on staff who have a combined 60 years experince of working on Butlers.

Cat pumps are solid pumps and are able to be rebuilt and we do that ourselves. We have spare parts for most anything that goes bad with them and in that odd instance that we don't have the parts, we get them from a local Cat distributor.

We will replace any fittings or hoses that look suspect. We don't however just replace them all. We also do all scheduled maintenance and oil changes when we prepare them for sale.

Pump will get rebuilt if needed or is approaching the end of it's life. We don't like to send anything out that is not running properly.
