It is with a very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our industry icons – Joe Domin.
Joe was a member of the cleaning and restoration family for over forty years. He joined Prochem in 1978 and was responsible for the formulation and creation of many of the products used by cleaners today including Prochem Ultrapac Traffic Lane Pre-Sprays. Additionally Joe was significant contributor to the success of Sapphire Scientific. While Joe’s contributions to the industry were many the impact he had on those were lucky enough to know him were far greater.
Joe’s love for life and laugher were infectious. You could not have a conversation with Joe without a smile on your face and a good LOL. He had an amazing ability to take a complicated subject like chemistry and make it understandable and fun. If you ever met Joe you would not forget him as his personality filled the room. For many in the cleaning and restoration industry he will be remembered as the funny guy in a lab coat with a camera taking pictures at industry events. For us that were blessed to work with Joe he will be remembered as one of the greats.
Our hearts go out to Joe’s family. He is survived by his love of his life Barb, his children, Bill, Scott (Mary), Andy (Rich), Tucker (Pam) and grandchildren.
RIP Joe Domin
