Pardon my ignorance but what is MMR? ( I only come up with mumps, measles, rubella--a vaccine.)

MMR Rocks! Always take the product serious. Yesterday we completed a MRD project and one of my guys failed to wear his googles, even though it is a standard policy and got some MMR in his eye. Very caustic stuff, but needs to be applied the right way.

The only problem was the goggles. ..

But like I told you it isn't remediation but will remove staining from surfaces. We used it after remediation on jobs where they are still concerned about staining. Its mean stuff, not to be taken lightly.

Glad it did what you needed bawb!

kinda odd you didn't notice water on the floor then.
two places a tank can leak..thru the bolt holes that secure it to bowl and thru the tank/bowl gasket.
when bolt hole leak, it drips all the time .
At gasket, when you flush .
Both conditions you see water on floor around the toilet

I took Ken Sellers AMRT course this spring. A couple of guys in the class liked RMR mold stain remover and said they pass post-remediation evaluation without sanding or brushing. I don't think they HEPA vacuumed either as the product penetrates into the affected material. It is nasty stuff like the MMR, full PPE required. Have you tried this product?

No I have not. I can see where it could pass but its still does not meet anyones requirements for mold remediation. I think it is a valuable tool but I would be cautious how its represented.

There are times when the property owner doesn't have the funds for a full blown mold job. Maybe using some containment and hepa vacuuming with a mold stain remover is the answer for these cases. ???

Here is a good article by Michael Pinto a leading authority on Mold, speaking about Mold Stain Removers.
