With a swivel stair tool risers are never a problem.

The riser, the bull nose, and the tread.... it’s all part of the stairs.

They all get at least vacuumed. I may not put a full trigger spray extraction on all the risers, only where they truly need it.
I mean I spray the rinse on them from a a foot away and then extract off. Then put the extra trigger spray at critical areas.
I don't typically do a full on prespray on the risers either, more of an overspray if not needed.

With the swivel it is never a pain in the arse, so it is not any problem to clean the risers.

Even if I've cleaned the risers, I still cuff them along with the bullnose and the crevices on all sides.
Time is money! about 50/50 on my end. It depends how they look
bunch of hacks. If you don't do the riser do you give them a break on the price. Or if you feel you have to do them do you charge extra. The answer is in the money

I don't think I've ever skipped them completely. I have been known to mist and vac them.

if they dont need a full prespray they get misted and vac'd
if they need a prespray and full rinse your pocket will regret not getting them cleaned earlier
