The RO membrane, SS housing, carbon block pre-filter assembly and plumbing would run about $700.

It would also require a 100 PSI pump for filtering.

A complete system like Lance's is slightly over $2100.

Does your use a booster pump Larry? What about control of the bypass? Are you using a 4x40? There was a great amount of consideration put into my system...

We have different systems.

Ours uses a General Triple Plunger pump system,

with a pressure gauge, flowmeter, and bypass valve.

I think a progressive TM cleaner would do a great job with either RO system.

must be a huge prefilter, as my unit needs a new filter about once a week. im using the standard 1-5 micron whole house filter in a clear housing. ill post a pic later if i remember.

@Scott S. , I use 4x10 3 stage prefiltration...

I run a bypass line to a tree, the grass, or a cleanout... it is just concentrate mineral water... and in reality, it evaporates back where it came from...

Ok, well it only takes one customers water well full of clay to ruin that filter. Has it completely clog up my 5 micron filter the other day, 1 job 3hrs, 100 gallons of water.

Sounds like you need a prefilter for your filter.

I was talking about the carbon block, which is the 2nd filter, protected by a 5 micron pleated prefilter.
