I cleaned a thick rug the other day at my shop. It wasn't terribly soiled so I just lightly wand cleaned it and dried it as well as I could. I'm pretty sure it was wool but it wasn't marked. I admit, I'm not much good at identifying composition
.
It cleaned up nicely and I left it as dry as the could. I folded it over itself a couple times and left it outside their office door, knowing they'd be back soon.
Well, it's really wavy now. I haven't seen it but that's how the customer described it to me over the phone a little while ago. She said she has had this issue in the past when it was cleaned by someone else but now it's even worse.
Any suggestions?
Can I get it to lay flat again?
