Rug dyeing in NJ

Customer in Little Silver, NJ with expensive wool area rug may be interested in dyeing her off-white rug to a darker color. Any carpet dyeing experts in the area?Thanks.

Define expensive? My suggestion is she replace it with something darker.

If it was expensive she shouldn't touch the colors and shouldn't mess around with it. It would worth more with messed up colors from aging etc...

So many times I'm told by customers "oh we have this really expensive rug" or "this rug is very nice and worth a lot" "this can not be cleaned by anyone"

and they are usually simple wool rugs that were never more than maybe a couple grand...

Thanks for the replies/comments. Turns out the rug is only about $3500 or so. Not worth the risk/hassle.
