I would like to suggest: the 10 winners -that will be participating in the "photo off" grand prize challenge- would send their picture entry to Mikey and he will post it in a thread anonymously. Each picture will have a number and members would vote for the number they like. That way the membership at large could vote on the merits of the pictures and not how well the submitting member is liked/disliked.

And if you want to make it even more strict: all of the entries will need to be submitted to Mikey before a given deadline. But Mikey would only post them after the deadline! That way, nobody would just look at the already posted pictures and just try to "one up" it.
