Saw A First Tonight......

My Wife finally got me to head to the local Mall tonight with her. I haven't been in a mall for 20 years. Was walking past a Jewlery store, and had to look twice at the carpet. It was......"twinkling"! Looked like someone had spilled glitter all over the floor, but it was built right into the carpet....looked like diamonds lying on the floor.

Pretty cool.

Anyone ever clean something like this??

ive seen that but havent cleaned it. i would imagine just clean as normal. it looks like tinsel is woven with the fiber.

It's optic fiber poked through the rug backing and connected to a light generator. Was a big fad in area rugs in the eighties, but haven't seen it much since then. Clean normally with anything that won't leave a lot of residue.
