I bought a couple jugs to give it a good testing..

"Spray and dwell" says the lable, and no rinse solution..

Have to assume scrubbing skull only make it better..

What had experience shown you regular users?
Where didn't it work?

Ivan sent this big cotton loopy bonnet along for some reason..
Not sure if it will work with my Vario.

I use it everyday and love it. It works on most jobs I do; carpet, upholstery, and tile.
It does not clean as well on heavy soiled commercial carpet.

Those loopy pads are completely worthless under OP machines. Put that under your 360 pad driver and you'll like it.

Procyon...I have been testing it for the past 4-5 months. I do think it is weak for those of us that are used to clean with Flex, Powermax, Ultrapack and alike. With that said, I like the "neutralness" of it and the low odor.
What I have been using it: mostly on residential carpets. I mentioned before how I started boosting it and do pad cleaning with it. Works great.
1 gallon hot water
2 scoops of Procyon
1oz 40 vol (or 2oz)
1oz Trashed Green (or 2oz)

It really does great on those bad polyhorrors in this mix with microfibers and the white loopys.

Here is why I use it.

I have chemical sensitivity from years of breathing in the shit this industry sells us. Procyon causes no adverse reactions. Plus, it cleans pretty darn good. I still keep some Cobb's PowerMax or Flex with Citrus on the van for those jobs I "feel" wont clean well without the heavy guns on it, but I sometimes forget to use them and the Procyon always seems to do well.

I wouldn't use it on a restaurant.

Despite what you think, this is not a very complicated job. Scrub it when you "think" you need to. You'll eventually figure out when it's necessary.

If you need help, call Saiger.

Marty, if you don't mind me asking, what happens when you have chemical sensitivety? I think I have had that lately. My throat has closed a few times. It even happened from steam taking a shower using county water packed with chlorine.

I switched back to Procyon a few months ago and love it. Seems like the powder works better than the liquid. I do like to mix it 50% stronger than the instructions say. So far my customers can't tell the difference from when I was using Extreme Clean. I still will keep it on the truck as a booster.

That is exactly how I use it, 50% stronger than the label says.
I have customers who are chemically sensitive and they have had zero problems when I have used this in their homes.
Just did one tonight and she requested no scents or soapy chems. The last cleaner she had into her house used something that made her cats throw up .
She loved the Procyon!

I rinse with it and use it as a prespray and rinse for hypoallergenic folks who want fragrance free detergent free.

with regular ultra pack my throat swells, eyes water and sinuses run horribly. I do use the low VOC ultra pack and it works great. I cant use extreme clean any more. I try and avoid anything over 9.5ph when cleaning. I do run flex on some apartments. that being said, the procyon says you need a shit ton of it on the instructions, it seems like a pale last for 3 jugs of pre spray?

You think Procyon makes a good rinse.
And Mikey hasn't seen a bad product from any major mfg in a couple of years.
Is that a statement or is there a question mark there, Elmer?

It makes a good rinse. Not a stand alone rinse like say Slurry. But then, it does not contains some noxious stuff either.
If you combine it with a pre-spray it does a great rinsing and cleaning job, much better than water alone or any acid rinse. On not your usual filthy carpet it does well on its own.

2 ounces for the sort of stuff you should be using it on.

If you need 4 use something else or boost the two.

OXYGEN RELEASE EMULSIFIER

Description:

The “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” is a completely Biodegradable safer cleaner that utilizes natural oxygen released during the cleaning process to brighten textiles and destroy microorganisms. When used as directed, “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” will give you a cleaner, brighter, fresher, residue free clean. “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” contains no solvents, no butyl, no surfactant, no soaps and no chlorides.

Carpets cleaned with “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” stay clean longer because no residue is left behind to cause re soiling or contribute to chemical sensitivities.

Usage:

For Truck Mount extraction concentrate, dissolve 1 lb.(approximately. 3 cups) “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” Powder into 5 gallons of water and set flow meter at 6 to 8 GPH.

For portable extractors, dissolve ¼ lb. (Approx. ½ cup) into 10 gallons water. “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” may be used as a pre-spray solution prior to cleaning. For pre-spray solution dissolve 2 oz. “Oxygen Release Emulsifier” powder per 1 gallon of water and pre-spray heavily soiled areas prior to extraction clean.

IMPORTANT:

To achieve best performance, cleaning solution temperatures should be from 150 to 200 degrees F. Higher temperatures will achieve greater oxygen release for better brightening and microorganism kill rate.
