Grab a fermented grape ne hi and belly up..

-at 15 years old are you content with following your dad's footsteps?

-what do you like most about being a carpet cleaner?

-and least?

-if your dad quits tomorrow to open Mexican hamburger stand and hands you the keys to the biz, what would you different than he has been doing?

-where do you see your non repeat customers coming from 5 years from now?

-what would be YOUR ideal ratio between commercial and residential clients?

-do you enjoy talking to 40 to 50 year old women?
If so what about other than carpet?

-if you could inherit any other business, what would it be?

-have you ever used another brand of truckmount or a portable? Did you sleep well that night?

-how could MB help you and your business more?

Thanks Scott!!

My bet he's tough enough for whatever he'd get here.

Have you seen how kids in his age group brutalize each other in school and social media? This place would be like a visit to an indulgent grandmother's house compared to the world he lives in.

Relative to the "Lord of the Flies" world they live in, probably so Willy.

Of course the girls treat each other far more hatefully than the boys.

I hope Scott comes on; I lived the life of a teenager working for his father cleaning carpets and wishing I was doing anything else.

I remember being embarrassed about what I did for a living, so I lied and told people things like I was a grave digger or a garbage man instead.

I never was or never will be embarrassed about my career path. I take great pride in making my customers homes healthier and improve the appearance of their surroundings. My rugby club has a group that includes dentists, architects. engineers and even a law professor. I don't in any way feel "less" because of what I do to make money. Jim Darling of Chemspec Canada , before he passed on, told me once about meeting a gent who was in this business. Jim enthusiastically said "Oh- a carpet cleaner". "No" the fellow replied "I'm a business man who chooses to clean carpets as my form of business". Funny how some of those nuggets stick with you.

I got past my teenage embarrassment fairly quickly, but I am curious how Scott will respond, if he will.

Jim Darling was a good man Willy; I'm lucky I got to know him.

Yep. Jim did a lot of "guiding" when he saw the potential. Lee Senter, whom I'm also proud to call a friend, learned a lot from Jim. I admire him and people like yourself who have the best in mind for the guys who put the rubber to the road.

Thank you Willy, Lee Senter is a very principled person, and has never hesitated to take on "the establishment" to do the right thing.

To Scott: Forgive me for hijacking your thread. We'd love to see your answers, and believe me you'll be treated respectfully, all of these jokes aside.

Listen young man, if you ever plan on going somewhere in this industry you're really going to need to focus and get your priorities in order.

washing rugs and driving around scamming young girls will get you nowhere in a hurry.

I think any fears anyone had that Scott couldn't stand up to this group have been proven to be unfounded

Athough this video may seem perplexing to the average middle aged man, I would inform you, Michael, that this is what the future is indulging in.

simply incredible

I guess the few schools I go into don't have the funds for that sort of thing.

they apparently spend too much on carpet cleaning..
