I already run other areas while living here.

I send them the jobs and they send me the checks...or I take credit cards.
It's just this area is my baby.

There are so many techs right now on board that I don't even have enough jobs.

Most of southern Ca. and a good amount around Northern Ca. are the areas I cover right now
I've done work in other states as well.

I understood your post.

Sorry about taking over the thread.
I really didn't mean to...just was trying to help with what I thought was a problem.

And yes I did

Back on topic.

The wife called him today to ask if he had time to review the info we sent him and/ or if he had made a decision. After he gave reasons why he had not decided she went ahead and called him out which he denied to the end and even threatened to report us to SM  . What a f'n piece of shit.

What info did you send him?
What was the decision he was supposed to make?

I don't know why anyone would use SM anyway.

In my area my website ranks 5-6 slots higher that SM.

If your not in the top few ranking you don't get calls from the web.

Have SM take a dump and find a competition free way to market.

(why would anyone market with their competition? Seems like the worse place to market.)

Anyway Robinson is leaving.

It's time to step up.

Make your mark and leave him in the dust.

I agree with Dave on this one. Quit using SM and let the other guy deal with price shoppers.

I dont use Service Magic anymore either but my best account which is worth 30k and growing each year came from a SM lead. Well worth the $12 in this case. Before we stopped using it seems the leads were getting worse and worse and it always came down to a speed dialing contest which to me comes across as desperate.

Well burden of proof whether you have been shopping them is on them if you choose to pursue anything. They openly admitted to shopping you. If say they scheduled with you and you went to perform the job, a no show I would pursue that.

Can you get a no electronic contact order going ? I know that sounds like a biatch move. But would you rather see/hear "Fred, owner of .... assaulted a man" on the news and risk losing it all.

Stop with the tough guy crap and just play it smart. Talk to a lawyer.

Get real!!

It's only 13 bucks. About what you can make in less that 10 minutes.

Just like pay per click. Competitors click on them all the time.

It comes with the territory and is the price of using those types of services.

BOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Go solve some real problems.

Your time could be much better served growing your business.
