smart phone and job scheduling??

I have a droid X, I would like to somehow use it to schedule my jobs. but the calender it has doesn't seem to work very well. the first line says what, then who, and it doesn't easily allow me to see the customers name. anyone doing all their schedule on their phone and liking it??

Yep Google Calendar works well for us at this stage. Wife can update schedule on the pc and I can collect it all from anywhere. On the rare occasion I need to book a custy while I'm working, I can do it straight onto the calendar while talking to them.

The calander on the droid x should be tied to your google calendar

I have a Sony Arc Android.
First line is What: I put the name and phone # (I can then just tap the phone # and it will go to phone and dial it)

Then I set the time

Then Where: which I can tap and it will come up on MAPS or I can copy it and use GPS

It all syncs to Google Calender which syncs to OUtlook with SyncCell.

I've been scheduling like this for 6mths now.
