We kissed and made up.
he will be adverting once again as well as attending M9F

but let me tell you all about his new truckmount that is still in BETA mode..

:shifty:

actually the first thing out of his mouf was a question about why I am not letting Erik. from "new"clean advertise here.

I was a bit taken back as to why John would be interested but he certainly knew a lot about the guy, his persona (Braveheart) on That Other Forum and just how small an operation Erik really has.

I sort of felt bad about the whole deal so I am willing to renegotiate my terms of doing business with Eric.

Here are my stipulations:

Prove to me you are not selling us laundry soap.
Prove to me that your company is set up to properly handle an emergency inhalation/ingestion call

I really don't think that is asking for too much considering all that has (not) gone down,

What'd you do to run him off, call him a crybaby? Oh, wait, ne'er mind, that was that other 'lectric truckmount fellow.

Carry on.

Mikey;

There are some minimum qualifications for a chemical vendor in most industries.

(1) Liability for the manufacturing company.

(2) Operating capital for the 1st year of operation.

(3) Ability to back up advertising claims made to the public

(Questionable, when this new vendor states his product outperforms ProChem, Chemspec, Pro's Choice, Judson and Dynachem PowerMax by a wide margin)

(4) Safety considerations mentioned by Mikey above

Larry

Claims here are personal opinion and subjective to say the least, few carry little weight depending on the who is making the claim.

Not that advertisers lie or anything BUT does anyone really believe you can clean like a pro with one of these? Honesty in advertising? Lots of bending of the truth.

I have my own set of standards that I expect from my advertisers.

This is the very first time such a situation has occurred.

Do you understand my concern?

I dont understand your concern as far as it pertains to you.If we went off the claims of all the soap guys here,we would all either be using the same stuff,or have a van full of prespray. Is it because you feel slightly responsible if someone buys something advertised here? They should already know that if you really want to know for sure, test it themselves. It really is that simple.

And people believe the marketing too.

i was out making some sales visits and decided to drop in on an account that told me that they had to cut cost and were going to go to longer intervals between cleanings.

when I walk up to the door I see this and was amazed.

Yeah..I just read his old posts here.

dislikes Larry Cobb.
Been banned from ***.
Big time Mytee shill.

And asks very strange questions for a guy who claims to have been cleaning since 97.

Yet when he first called me he tried to come off as knowing nothing about the carpet cleaning industry and more of a employee from a laundry detergent company.

Larry and Les mix their powders in "bathtubs", not a crime here at all, but if something goes wrong I can find them.

a PO box does me no good at all.

Not once Texas succeeds cowboy.
Once Larry and his far flung, forsaken lone star state join the United States of Mexico, it may be Mytee hard to find them.

Ofer;

Over 86,000 Texas voter signatures for secession . . .

have been sent to Wash. DC .

The federal government is obligated to respond.

OBama is thinking about it. :icon_rolleyes:
