I subbed for a one of the cheapest people I know when I moved to sac.

When I saved enough money I started my own gig.

I worked my ass off...But it's nothing compared to how hard I worked when I ran everything myself.

I think Greg Cole needs to get credit for what he has built, what he puts up with and what he's accomplished.

If it's not your cup o tea....Go join the porn industry....This is business.

Sam...You might know Dylan Vargas from Skyline Carpet Care...One of my best friends....Cheap bastard...But a great friend.

He was the one who told me about Mikey's Board years ago too.

Probably not the most popular guy on here because of that.

I never said couponing was bad. But the coupon companies tend to be the bait and switchers.

For a low end service to not offer at least a prespray as part of their basic serivice is just wrong to the customer and the profession. Just like one step cleaning is bad for the cleaning profession.

I am speculating like others here have that Cole may well have preempted a hidden camera investigation on his company by calling for one so his company wouldn't be the target of one. Par for the course for anyone who would run such an operation.

Nothing wrong with subs if they are doing good work and are paid fairly.

But when you got a bunch of hacks running around in cars and pickups for cheap, you can't tell me that is any good for this industry. And even at the bottom end of a customer engaging a so-called "professional" carpet cleaning company they should expect a good result from even the most basic level of clean.

Instead, they have to pay extra for something they would REASONABLY expect to be included. And showing up late for a job is also unprofessional and shows further disregard and disrespect for a customers time.

Shame on any of one that has any part of doing this kind of work or would allow anyone associated with them to treat a customer like that. If you do, YOU'RE SCUM!

Bob, I don't know you, and am new to this board, but you are my new Messiah.

Shout it from the mountaintop!

Bottom line is they make it A LOT HARDER for the rest of us. There is nothing that anyone can say that can justify this type of "business". They are running a racket.

If you market yourself correctly and project an image of quality....Other businesses antics shouldn't matter.

People know....or they will soon find out.

Actually, in the long run, those shoddy cleaners are great for the good quality companies.
(Not referring here personally to Cole's, as I know nothing about his operation.)

They help us differentiate ourselves.

In a way, they are our best advertisement.

Some get it and some don't.

Why do you think people with money DON'T shop at "Walmarts"

Ofer gets it.
